Gone are the days when men hardly bothered about the way they looked. Today men compete equally with girls in maintaining themselves. Some have a thinner belly than their girlfriends. If daily skin care has become so important to men then obviously something special must be done about the skin care for groom.

The epidermis of men is thicker and is more prone to skin ailments. There are some heavy face packs available in the beauty saloons for men. But if you are someone between that thin line of metro-sexual men and the men who hardly care about themselves then here are some simple skin care tips that will help you compete with your bride for the glow. .

Wash your face regularly with tap water. It will not only remove superficial dust on your skin but will also keep you freshen up all day long. Doing this regularly will improve circulation of the facial. You may use a mild face washes if your skin is oily. This way you can keep acne at bay.

You will have to give up on smoking or at least cut down to cigarettes in case you really want get the natural shimmer to your skin. If you are using face packs but you can not cut down of smoking then all your effort will go invane. Do not blame it on the beautician then!

Drinks lots of water and eat a healthy diet. Drinking good amount of water will help eliminate skin toxins circulating in the body. By eating healthy diet rich in proteins and greens you can totally be at peace with achieving a healthy glowing skin.

Hit the gym and exercise your sweat out. It will be beneficial for your overall health. The haldi (turmeric) and milk baths are for grooms too. Why feel shy? If king Ashoka can take bath in tub of roses and milk so can “king groom"

By following this simple routine of skin care for groom for at least 3 months one can guarantee a glow that even your bride won’t have with a blusher on.
