001sweatSweating keeps body at constant temperature. It may embarrass sometimes because of the bad odor caused by sweating. Hence, some people prefer using deodorant but it has one disadvantage- it makes skin acidic. Sweating cannot be stopped but it can be reduced. There may be many causes for sweating like exercises, infection, stress, decline in hormone levels, and more sweat glands than normal.

Some tips that will help you a lot to reduce sweating are:

1. Use talcum powder or antiperspirants after bathing. They prevent the release of sweat from skin. However, they may have side effects like skin irritation. You may use deodorant containing aluminum chloride, which will cover the odor caused by sweat and block your pores. Nevertheless, this has a disadvantage, as your body must sweat to keep it at constant temperature.

2. People having more fat content or are overweight will sweat more. Hence, you should workout regularly to burn your calories.

3. Wear loose clothes that allow easy air circulation. For e.g. wear clothes made of cotton before exposing yourself to sun.

4. Use moisturizer before going out in sun.

5. Avoid wearing dark clothes on sunny day because they absorb heat very rapidly.

6. Sometimes stress also causes sweat. For that, you may practice yoga, meditation, or aerobics, which helps you in relaxing.

7. Drink plenty of water because through sweating you loose your water and you need to gain it again. Water also helps to cool you down and hence maintain body temperature.

8. Take more showers in summer season.

9. Avoid junk foods, which are the major cause of increasing fats in your body. Rather prefer juicy fruits and green leafy vegetables, which not only provide good nutrition but also increase water content in your body. Moreover, they do not add calories to hips or stomach. Try to avoid butter, white sauce, chocolates, bread, and cheese also.
