Natural Remedies for Psoriasis
Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease, which is usually distinguished by thick, silvery, red, and scaled patches on the skin. It gives inflammatory sensation to the skin. It usually appears on the skin within the age of 16-30 years; it is seldom in children and aged people. There are five types of psoriasis, which are: plague psoriasis, guttate psoriasis, pustular psoriasis, inverse psoriasis, erythrodermic psoriasis.
Out of the above five types of psoriasis, plague psoriasis is the most prevalent among people. In this psoriasis, marks are found all over the body. In guttate psoriasis, small red patches can be seen throughout the body. In pustular psoriasis, white pustules covered by some red skin appear on the skin. In inverse psoriasis, smooth red colored lesions are occurred on skin. Moreover, in erythrodermic psoriasis pain, itching and redness sensation occurs.
Psoriasis are mainly caused due to irregularity in metabolism of proteins and amino acids, injuries to skin, seasonal changes, heredity factors, and various types of infections. Psoriasis needs due care to be taken if happens to anyone. Some people consult doctors for proper treatment and some opt for natural remedies for it.
Some of the natural therapies which help the person with psoriasis are the baths taken by hot Epsom salts and massage olive oil well after bathing; applying sea water on the affected part once in a day; taking bitter guard as juice mixed with lemon juice and taken with empty stomach for four to five months; using mudpacks toxins on the affected areas are removed and pasting cabbage leaves pulp on the affected areas also helps to cure psoriasis.
Sunlight is also supposed to be a good cure for psoriasis. Lecithin is also a very fast healer for psoriasis. Vitamin E treatment can also be found to be very effective and applying Aloe Vera gel or garlic oil can also help it to cure. Further application of cashew nut oil at night after proper washing of the face is very effective. Thus taking some natural remedies can heal these psoriasis patches without any further infections.
