Mesotherapy for Removing Cellulite
Do you have excess fat in your body that show no sign of waning even after exercising for years? In such a case, you might consider going for liposuction. However, if you are scared by the cosmetic surgeon’s scalpel, then you might try Mesotherapy. This non-invasive procedure uses injections to remove fats from your body.
Mesotherapy was invented by Dr. Michel Pistor in the 1950s. Since then this procedure is practiced in Europe and South America. This procedure was popularized in the USA in the 1990s. Mesotherapy is largely used for removing cellulite in the body. Even if you are not overweight, cellulite might appear which worsens over time. Cellulites generally appear in 90 percent of women between 25 and 35. If you do not treat this condition at the early stage, you might require several Mesotherapy sessions to cure cellulites.
Mesotherapy Process
Mesotherapy uses a concoction of substances, such as plant extracts, homeopathic medicines and vitamins, which are injected in the skin to remove the subcutaneous fats. The injected substances kill the fats, which are gradually absorbed by the body. Mesotherapy is largely used for shaping the thigh, upper arms, chin, buttock and the abdomen. Mesotherapy is also used for rejuvenating damaged skin and for curing sagging skin. The sub-dermal injection triggers production of elastin and collagen that helps in tightening the skin. Mesotherapy is also considered as an anti-aging treatment. Depending on the severity of the problem, on an average, it might take 10 to 25 sessions to remove completely the visible traces of cellulite from the body.
Side Effects of Mesotherapy
There are minor side effects of Mesotherapy. You might suffer burning sensation that might last for about 20 minutes. Bruises or blue and black marks that appear at the injected area, would disappear within a few days. You might experience mild soreness for five days and there are slight infection risks.
