Key for Success in Interviews

interv11Apply for only those jobs which you really want to join and which are in your field. Don’t waste your time and the interviewer’s time also. If you get an interview call also you do not know much about that field and may not be able to answer questions in that field. If you have prepared yourself well for the interview then may be you will get the job but loose the job within no time because your experience and expertise is not there in that particular field. So never risk it.

Know yourself well. Writing a diary is a really good habit to know how you respond to situations. Write all your positives and all your negatives. Work on improving all your negatives. When you attend an interview try to see that you have overcome all your negatives.

Go well prepared for the interview. Know about the job and the company you have applied for. Collect all possible information about the job you have applied for. Know the subjects well. Bank on your experience. Any day hands-on experience is better than theoretical knowledge.

Be an extremely good sales man in an interview. Sell yourself well. If you don’t sell yourself well, your chance of getting the job reduces.

Don’t speak anything negative about yourself or anybody. Be clear about your future also. Your future thoughts should be crystal clear like your past.

Being positive only can make you win the interview. Even the slightest negativity may lead to disappointment. So be, as positive as you can.

Look over your resume and presume all the possible questions which may come in the interview and be prepared with all possible answers also.

If you are not able to understand some question properly never hesitate to ask them once again. Nothing wrong if you ask them again. Be clear with the question and give an apt answer to that question.

Don’t be too self assured or too aggressive in the interview. Don’t dominate too much in the interview. Let the interviewer dominate you. Don’t be non enthusiastic, cold……

Never miss eye-eye- contact. Don’t speak too much. Don’t go the interview unprepared.
