Ashwagandha is a general body tonic and can be taken in any form like tablet, capsules or powder etc. This is safe herb and anyone from any age group can use it. In children the doses should be started as one grams in first two years and 3-4 grams up to 5 years of age. After 5 years of age a child can take 5 grams of ashwagandha daily and in adults 5-10 grams of ashwagandha powder can be taken twice a day. It should be consumed with milk to get best results. |

Aswagandha is available as churnam, but lehyam has many other drugs as well in it.For adults, churnam is one teaspoon. For elderly,it is half teaspoon and for children,it is quarter spoon. If it is lehyam, adult 2 spoons, elderly 1 spoon and children 1 spoon. |
