By the 40th week of your pregnancy your baby becomes ready to come out from your womb in this world. Now your baby is having too little space now to move, so your baby must be thinking of doing an entry into this world. The size of your abdomen may relatively remain the same during this weekof your pregnancy. You must be feeling grateful during this period because the weight gained by you as well as the size both is slowing as your pregnancy is continuing week by week. It may happen that you may find it difficult to move around after the period of your pregnancy.

But you must keep this in mind that this problem is for only few days as now you will welcome your newborn baby into this world.

At this period of 40th week of your pregnancy you may be reaching your due date. It may also happen that you may pass the due date and may end up into the 41st week of your pregnancy. In many cases it is seen that woman have her delivery at the 41st week of her pregnancy. This may happen particularly in those women who are primi-gravida. The prediction of the due date is a science but cannot be said as the exact one. Though it is very difficult to predict the exact date when you got conceived and it is also very difficult to predict the exact date when your baby will arrive into the world.

Many of the babies may have the look like a 'cook' than the others that mean that the baby is yet not ready at the 40th week of the pregnancy. Whereas some of them become ready to come into the world at the 38th week of pregnancy and other babies prefers to stay inside until the period of 42nd week of pregnancy.
