Positive Pregnancy Test
The great and best sign that the woman is pregnant is a positive pregnancy test. Home pregnancy test measures the pregnancy hormone hCG in the woman’s urine. The most sensitive home pregnancy test shows a positive result when the hCG level reaches 20, that can happen as early as four days before the menses are due, or approximately 10 days after she has been conceived. False negatives are general while testing early with a home pregnancy test, so it is recommended that the woman should wait to use one until 18 days after ovulation avoiding false negatives.
The usual recommendation is waiting until 14 days after being ovulated before testing. Blood serum pregnancy test performed by the health care provider is much more sensitive as they can detect hCG levels as low as unit 5. If the woman continues to experience pregnancy symptoms, but the home pregnancy tests continue to show negative, she can take an appointment with her health care provider to confirm the pregnancy.
