Something about due dates and trimesters

After the woman is announced with her pregnancy, the first question she probably be asked is "When is she due!" At her first prenatal visit, the healthcare provider helps the pregnant woman to determine something called as an E xpected Delivery Date(EDD). An Expected Delivery Date or the EDD is about 40 weeks from the first day of the woman’s LMP (last menstrual period). If the pregnant woman delivers on her Expected Delivery Date, her baby is in reality, only about 38 wk old — that is due to the woman’s egg did not get fertilized until about two weeks after the begging of the woman’s last menstrual cycle.

A pregnancy calendar also tells the woman that when her baby's fetal and major bodily organs will be developed, and it can be easier to predict and even to track the developments of fetus’ lungs, spine and brain activities. This can be awesome to learn the exact week when the embryo can listen to the same music what an expecting mother is listening, and also when to stop the sound or song if it becomes louder and affects the child.

Ideal Pregnancy calendar

Good pregnancy calendar will let the expecting mother know that when her baby is most probably to survive premature births, so the pregnant woman can breathe a little comfortably as every week passes this point. Of course, a pregnancy calendar also tells her when to expect to bring that new life into the world of joys where there is no sorrow; this is after the pregnant woman has carried the baby for around forty weeks. She can mark it on the pregnancy calendar and count down the days until she can see her feet again and wear her favorite footwear. Then again, her cute baby will probably have its mother running around so much she might need to get some good pairs of sneaker instead.

It is essential to make a note that her due date is just an estimate and most of the babies are born between 38-42 wk from the 1st day of their mother’s last menstrual period and only a few women actually deliver exactly on their due dates. Another common term all the pregnant women will learn is pregnancy trimesters. A pregnancy has been divided into trimesters: the 1st trimester (the period that ranges from week one to the end of week twelve), the 2nd trimester (the period that ranges from week thirteen to the end of week 26), and the 3rd trimester (the period that ranges from week 27 to the end of the pregnancy).

Special pregnancy calendar

When any woman is expecting a baby, a pregnancy calendar is an awesome tool to utilize. If the pregnant woman does not know the exact date what she conceived her baby, she can certainly utilize a pregnancy calendar in order to know about the due dates. In most cases, it is about a couple of weeks after the 1st day of her last menstrual period. Pregnancy calendar that belongs to the Chinese pregnancy calendar is something that allows a couple to determine the sex (gender – a boy or a girl) of their baby as Chinese people and ancient healer claim.

In such pregnancy calendar, a couple has to choose one particular day of one particular month that allows them to decide the gender of their future baby. Such pregnancy calendar includes a chart that is made up of months and genders (M for male and F for female) in rows and columns. Now a couple has to decide that when should they have a successful sexual intercourse that meets their wish to have male child or a female child. According to Chinese pregnancy calendar, the sexual intercourse done on one particular day ends up in bearing a male child to the woman and on other day, it would end up in bearing a female child to the woman.
