A wedding party is a ceremony which joins a bride and bridegroom to become husband and wife. The bride usually is attended by bride maids. A white wedding is simply a wedding where the bride wears a white gown. This definition has however increased in some countries to mean the joining together of virgins. Wedding parties can be done traditionally. Wedding parties will have guests invited for the party to celebrate a new family that has been formed. The typical attire for the bride is a formal white dress and for the bridegroom is a formal suit. Wedding parties needs a great deal of planning.
The wedding party makes people meet. Relatives of the bride and the bride groom will come to celebrate. A wedding cake is always available on wedding parties. The favour used for the wedding depends on the colour choice of the wedding couple. Usually on weddings people give gifts to the newly wedded couple in congratulations of their wedding. The gifts can vary from money to property such as cars, pots, chinaware and any type of furniture. Wedding parties are usually accompanied with music for entertainment. They can be a hired band or playing music from a music system. Photographs are also needed for wedding parties.
On a wedding party there will be speeches from selected guests to congratulate the wedded couple. After a wedding party most couple would go for a honeymoon. This is a secluded place apart from their own homes where they will go and enjoy themselves for some time.
