When it’s time to celebrate those last few days of bachelorette-hood, some of the best bachelorette party destinations are as close as down the street or half way across the country. It all depends on how you want to celebrate your last few days as a single gal. Some celebrations are quiet and mild, while others are risqué and wild.
Some destinations that cater to bachelorette parties:
• Las Vegas – Sin City is known for its celebrations, good and bad, and is widely known as a bachelorette party destination. For the girl who wants to go out with a splash, Vegas may be the ticket. Between spectacular shows and the gambling, a bachelorette party can find a great deal of entertainment along the strip.
• Bar hopping – While not as exciting as Vegas, bar hopping can lead to many good laughs and photographs which may never see the light of day. But much like Vegas, a good time can be had by all, as well as provide opportunity for interesting bachelorette party games along the way.
• Dinner and a Show – For the mellower of the brides-to-be, the bachelorette may just chose to enjoy the company of her girlfriends at her favorite restaurant and then take in a show at the theater, a concert, or festival, depending on the events in the area. It’s low-key, but still a great time.
• Weekend trips – Day and weekend trips to some of the bride-to-be’s favorite destinations, like the beach, a spa, or the mountains, is another way to celebrate the upcoming nuptials. Many spas and beach resorts offer bachelorette party destinations and retreats, which accommodates the entire bridal party, lavishing them with special treatment and gifts.
Wherever you decide to celebrate the bachelorette party, make sure that it not only is befitting of the bride-to-be, but is comfortable for the guests as well. Planning should be primarily center around what the bachelorette desires, but the guests should be considered as well. There is nothing more exhausting than attending a function that is not interesting to the guest. Proper planning will ensure that all members of the party have fun.
