Want to know why you are not gaining weight

What calorie intake do I need and when do I need to eat it?
This is the best way to start to gain weight; I can guarantee that it will work for you as long as you follow my advice. What you need to do is to work out what calorie intake you need to have on a daily basis.
The easiest calculation is that you need approximately 20 calories for every pound that you weigh, so 150 pounds in weight would mean that you need to be eating 3,000 calories every day.
To help you build muscle naturally and evenly then you need to feed your body on a regular basis. I suggest eating every 2-3 hours, which means that on average, you are going to be eating approximately five meals per day. So 3,000 calories over five meals is 600 calories per meal.
It may take a while to get used to this kind of diet, and for the regular eating pattern to feel natural to you, but I can assure you that you will feel the benefit within days.
Hints and tips to make it easier to manage
Preparing food in advance is a great way of maintaining the even intake that you need to build muscles naturally. Why not try packing meals in advance, cooking in bulk and freezing in portions.
There are loads of ways to do this without changing your other daily routines; the microwave and the blender are excellent inventions!
Why not make your own oatmeal milk shakes? Include different fruits for a refreshing and healthy meal. Soups and stews are also an excellent way of ensuring that your meals are rich in healthy carbohydrates and proteins.
What happens if the weight loss slows down or stops?
Why not work out how many calories you eat on average every day at the moment and how unevenly spread the consumption is. You will surprise yourself when you see what you have been doing all these years.
Then you will realise how your diet really does need to change to help you gain weight and build muscle naturally. When you need to gain more weight or the weight gain has slowed down, then just slowly increase the amount of calories that you are taking and the weight will start to go on again.
