There are several factors that can contribute to prostate disorders. One factor that affects many people is sitting for a prolonged period of time. Most of us have jobs and lifestyles where we are faced with sitting behind a desk for extended periods of time.
Excessive sitting and immobility increases pressure in the pelvic area, which can lead to a congestion of the tissues that surround the prostrate area.
A person can also get prostrate disorders from excess exposure to cold or chilly weather as well as certain infectious diseases. One form of a prostrate disorder that can result from this is chronic prostatis.
Prostrate disorders can also result from over exciting the prostate gland from sexual activity. Also, when a person is unable to have normal, healthy, and regular bowel movements and experiences constipation, the feces can harden and overload the rectal area, which will create pressure on the prostate gland.
When a person has prostrate disorders they exhibit certain common features that can tip the person off that they are dealing with prostrate disorders.
Two key warning signs that a person has a prostrate disorder are the inability to urinate and the feeling of adverse need to urinate during the night.
A person with a prostrate disorder may experience other symptoms such as pain in the lower back and lower extremities such as the hips, legs, and feet.
When a person stands erect, pressure is placed on the person’s pelvic area where their prostate gland is found. As a person’s body gets older, it lose its flexibility and becomes heavier and harder to hold erect.
This in turn adds pressure to the pelvic region and makes the prostate gland more susceptible to injuries and disorders.
There is a list of home remedies using products that are commonly found in the kitchen. Consuming a mixture of pumpkin seeds and honey or a drink of pumpkin seeds with milk and sugar, can help ease prostrate problems.
This is because the pumpkin seeds are high in unsaturated fatty acids, which promotes the health of the prostate gland. The recommended dose for a person over the age of fifty to treat prostrate disorders is sixty to ninety grams of pumpkin seeds each day.
Vegetable juices such as carrot juice or spinach juice have been found beneficial in treating prostrate disorders such as an enlarged prostrate. The two vegetables can be taken independently or they can be combined.
There is a specific diet that should be followed to avoid or treat prostrate disorders. The diet starts by eliminating all solid foods and just drinking water and lemon juice for two to three days.
The water should be consumed every hour to increase the amount of urination. After fasting for a few days start back with consuming fruit and fruit products.
As the fruit, diet progresses take two meals a day of fruits and one of vegetables. Next, the diet can progress to a well-balanced meal that consists of fruits, vegetables and grains.
