Diuretics
The herb diuretics, which is used to cause an increase in your urine output has been used for people with high blood pressure, arthritis, retention, urinary stones and overall infection associated with our urinary tract. It is said to have a gentle osmotic effect.
The Urinary Tract
Herbal diuretics as mentioned above is also said to address urinary complications by way of producing a diluted form of urine, which can reduce irritation.
However, the use of herbal diuretics cannot be the only herb, which provides relief from complications; there are urinary antiseptics and other herbs, which heal your mucous lining associated with your urinary tract. These herbs have been well documented to repair the urinary tract when not functioning properly.
Couch Grass
Couch grass is classified as a diuretic, which has the gummy substance mucilage working in its favor to soothe an irritated and inflamed urinary tract. It can even go as far as to heal our urinary tract.
Being that it is a diuretic, it also increased the portion of urine through the use of osmosis. However, it can also be used as an antibiotic for gout and rheumatism.
Uva Ursi (Bearberry)
Uva ursi is an antibacterial infusion used for the treatment of urinary infections and is sometimes defined as an antiseptic. In the field of herbals, it is called an astringent herb because of its effectiveness on e coli, staphylococcus, proteus, and pseudomonas. It has an antibacterial effect that reaches its peak of performance after three to four hours of taking it.
Horsetail
Horsetail is also classified as an astringent to be used in the genitor urinary tract. It is said to contain high levels of silica, a silicon dioxide.
The most common use for horsetail is for reducing levels of lead in our bodies. Fisher and Painter reported that there is evidence that supports it have an anti-rheumatic outcome as well as a positive outcome on lipid.
There are a number of other traditional herbs, which have been determined to be like parsley, nettle and corn silk that have been reported to do wonders for your urinary tract.
