Toxicity through the Eyes of a Nutritionist

Liver detoxification is designed to assist the liver in functioning properly in order to improve the digestive system and general health. It can also play a very vital role in the improvement of our skin.

The nutritionist Erica Angyal, has a book on the market entitled Gorgeous Skin in 30 Days, inside that book, she highlights a number of skin complications that can be associated with the poor elimination of waste matter or waste build-up within our livers, in turn causes the liver detoxification process to be stifled.

This is a must read for those who value the appearance of their skin. Here are some of the sign of toxicity in our skin:

Sallow Skin

Sallow skin is a look apparently brought on by drug residues or the buildup of waste from our livers on account of pitiful liver detoxification and excess.

Age Spots

Age spots, also commonly called liver spots are brought on through sun exposure and in some cases through the bruising. It’s nothing more than a collection of pigment, which is more prevalent in people over 55. The term liver spot is derive from the buildup of waste in our livers.

Adult Acne

When you step outdoors, you may not be able to see it but there are pollutants in our environment that are the cause of adult acne. However, it is not the only cause.

Poor dieting and overburdened liver and a tremendous amount of stress are also catalyst in adult acne. Angyal states in her book that all these things will lead to a surplus of free radicals, which in turn could destabilize our cellular membranes.

Wrinkles and Skin Sagging

This can be caused by the free radical movement as well as a somewhat polished level of carbohydrates; for instance, sugar and flour. A combination of these things effect the collagen in our skin as well as fibrous protein called elastin.

Puffiness and Dark Circled Eyes

The primary reason for these looks can be traced to allergies and a dead ringer for the improper functions of our kidneys.
