Tie Wearing Tips

Men have worn ties for a very long time. If you pull out pictures of your grandparents you will see for sure, the men of those days wearing ties. It is just one more thing in men’s wear to brighten things up for men.
A tie reflects what a man is all about. It is said to personify his personality. As we grow older we all seem to develop a liking for particular colours and styles. Though styles do change and if you are in a high profile world you will need to keep up with the times. So make sure you budget for it, as you do not want to fall behind the Jones’s.
As just as much as your suit or your shoes say what you are about, so does your choice of a neck tie tells people who you are. There is more than a single way to tying the tie, it all depends on the type of knot you wish to achieve.
Some like a tight knot, so pull the fabric into a tight knot while others prefer the lose wound knot. It is important to learn what type of tie that needs to be worn for which occasion. There are some simple rules we will share with you as we progress.
Neckties have been off the normal wear list for some time as the casual wear came into the office environment. This was great for guys who did not like to have to feel their necks all pulled in. It can be somewhat uncomfortable in the warm weather to have to wear a tie.
So those days were good, when the loose collar was in vogue. Sadly this has all changed with the hard economic times of today. With few jobs going around the tie is very much back in for formal wear. So more and more people are wearing ties to office today.
Let’s talk of what tie to wear, when. Well if you are going in for a formal business meeting the right type would be a single colour or even a pin strip would do very well based on the suit and dress shirt you have taken out.
The idea is ‘sober’, no fancy stuff like maybe a cartoon print which were very popular and a hot rage some years back. There are countless classics available today. All you need to do is check out what’s available within that budget you had set aside.
