Priyanka Working Hard On Her Body

Priyanka Chopra, who has recently been in the news for delivering duds like ‘Love Story 2050’, ‘Drona,’ and ‘Chamku’ and walking the ramp for top Indian fashion designers at the Bridal Asia Show besides Fashion Week, admitted to the media she has been working hard on her body post the excitement of these diverse assignments.
Her latest release, ‘Fashion’ has been in the news for various controversies surrounding it since even before the launch (e.g. the film-maker is supposed to have based a part of his movie on the tragedy surrounding erstwhile model Gitanjali Nagpal who was recently found wandering the streets besides including gay kisses, wardrobe malfunctions like the one with real-life model, Carol Gracias and drug habits of models finding it hard to cope with their job-stress etc). However, Priyanka has wowed audiences with her hot new look and her superb acting abilities in her latest movie based on the fashion industry, though she was asked to first put on 6 kilos for it – then, asked to shed it bit by bit, as the character progressed during the film!
No mean task to still look great while changing shape, Priyanka Chopra seems to have managed to ace the body-sculpting that makes her one of the hottest cover girls for Bollywood and Fashion magazines.
Ready to flaunt her curves, after intense workouts and strict dieting for a beach background movie, entitled, ‘Dostana,’ Priyanka revealed she will be wearing lots of swimsuits and minimum clothing for this romantic comedy with dollops of laughs for the audience, besides her dare-bare act.
With the shooting for ‘Dostana’ conducted on Miami Beach, Florida, USA, the stint was a fun, though hectic one for Priyanka, whose had 6 major film releases in 2008. With most of these films flopping miserably, Priyanka has set her sights on the Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham starrer, ‘Dostana,’ shooting for which was like rejuvenating experience for her, she adds. The film is set to release on November 14th, 2008 and Priyanka essays the role of a fashion journalist sharing a flat with Abhishek and John who apparently dupe her into renting the place, claiming they are a gay couple!
