New Drink Ideas

Ah, the love of good food and friends keeps many of us going, but when it comes to the opposite sex, boy, don’t a whole lot of us men feel we are drowning in deep waters, especially when it comes toentertaining them at our pad?

Honestly, though, how many men can you think of at the spur of the moment who have actually been able to offer women visiting their bachelor pads anything more than a Budweiser or the packaged fruit juice they’ve hurriedly dialled the corner grocery store for and had furtively delivered? Not many, huh?

For all those guys out there who’d love to date more and impress the miss in their lives, we’ve got the snazziest way to get the spirits up and flowing too, with our latest new drink ideas that are ideal for setting the mood for any romantic evening with the ladies!

Our new drink idea includes fresh mango, ginger beer and lime cocktail for the woman who likes a bit of fizz and some fruit, too! If you have pals over, our recipe serves 6 so is ideal for more than just you too – unless, you’re planning on turning a good girl bad, then here’s to you! You’ll need 2 fresh mangoes, a cup of castor sugar (you can grind up regular sugar in the mixer to make it fine), 2 tbsp of limejuice, a quarter litre of ginger beer and 750ml bottle of sparkling wine besides lime slivers to garnish the drink. Peel mangoes and discard the stones; chop the flesh roughly blend it along with sugar and limejuice till it is smooth. Pour into a glass container, cover the mouth with plastic wrap and keep it in the fridge till you are ready to serve it; before serving, pour the ginger beer and sparkling wine into mango mixture, taking care to stir it slowly till all the ingredients are well mixed. Pour the mix into your best glasses and garnishing with lime slivers, serve with a flourish  – and a hint of what may follow!

Stir until combined. Pour into glasses and decorate with halved lime slices.
