The male lead stars in action movies are inspiring a lot of people these days to build good muscles. Every man dreams of having the kind of body they see girls ogling at and wanting more.
After all, which guy would not want to impress a girl with his good looks? In their urge to do this, many men tread the wrong path.
Many of them end up taking unhealthy supplements that assure them of desired results overnight. Some of them spend half their day at the gym in order to build their muscles.
These individuals will in this way not only go farther away from their dream, but, also end up losing out on their health.
There needs to be a methodical and well thought out approach to build muscles. Keep in mind the saying “Rome was not built in a day”. It takes months or even years of patience to get a good muscular physique.
The dream of building muscles can be realized only when you spend hours at the gym doing effective workouts efficiently. You cannot do this all by yourself.
You need to have the guidance of a physical instructor who can help you isolate muscles and work on them individually.
You cannot afford the luxury of skipping even one day at the gym.
Consistency is the key to building muscles. In an effort to build muscles, most people end up doing cardio vascular exercises. Hence, it is necessary to understand the difference between body building and weight loss.
Weight loss can be achieved by doing cardiovascular workouts alone; however, body building needs more of strength training with minimal amount of weight loss, only if needed.
Weight training or strength training is the key workout to assist in body building.
It takes time, patience and perseverance to learn the art of balancing the right amounts of weight for each muscle group in the body. You cannot start off with carrying heavy weights in the eagerness to develop your body overnight.
This is a gradual process. You need to start off with weights that you can comfortably carry and workout with.
At regular intervals, you will need to increase the amount of weight in order to increase the intensity of the workout thereby speeding up the process of muscle building.
The muscles are built by the tearing and repairing of the tissues. Hence, it is mandatory to increase the weight in steps. This gives time for the body to repair the tissue that has been worked on and worn out.
Remember one very important aspect; not all body types are the same, hence, don’t copy the exercises your friend does blindly. Instead get in touch with your instructor and seek his advice.
