Perfumes are treated as women’s fancy but the cologne is a stronger word and now its time for the guys to know more about it. Gone are the days when we kept ourselves away from all these luxuries. Now its time for us to smell fabulous as there is a well known fact that smell of a person is much more remembered than the face or name of an individual.
Touch of freshness
Colognes are not only meant for good smelling but they are also meant for freshness and for attractive look. Mainly colognes are created from nine scents namely herbal, wood, powder, floral etc and depending upon the scents the Colognes can be of head, heart and base note categories for men. Top notes are for very small duration smell. Heart notes are better in terms of duration of fragrance but base notes are the best in this comparison.
Types of fragrances
The smell of citrus is very close to fruits. The sour and the sweet smells can be identified through its fragrance. Generally they are the main ingredient of the men’s colognes. The woodsy fragrances sometimes are very much liked by men. They can sandal wood fragrances or fragrances of tars. These fragrances belong to the category of base notes.
Identifying the suitable one from the variety
It is easily understandable that within these range of varieties and also within the huge variety of smells we guys will get confused and will finally land up with a wrong choice. Choice of cologne is very important and should match an individual’s personality. So close your eyes and try to get the smell of all the cologne and find the one which will make you feel great and attractive. It can be woody or oceanic or spicy or smooth like breeze or fresh like greens or exotic. With floral one can feel romantic and on the other hand with exotic one can get the confidence and charm. Again we can go for variety of colognes and choose it depending on our mood to compliment our style and personality.
