The city can refresh you and you can feel the difference when you land up in the world’s second most livable city. Yes, it is Melbourne, Australia. The drive from Tullamarine international airport towards the Central Business District or CBD will make is indeed tempting. The beautiful freeways and finally most of the cabbies take the great tunnel to reach the city beside the Yarra River.
Victorian art and culture
Just a few days break from tough work schedule is sufficient to visit Melbourne and parts of Victoria, the garden state. When you land up just check out the nearest railways station and but a ticket that covers three regions. This ticket can be at the same times used when you board a tram or bus, indeed saves a lot. The exhibition center, situated beside the Finder’s street railway station is the heart of rich Victorian Art and Culture; again the Theatre Hall is just a few steps away from Exhibition center and in the heart of the Spencer Street.
Spirit of Tasmania
If you want a peaceful cruise, just visit Port Melbourne and reach Hobart within a night. To be true, the cruise ”Spirit of Tasmania’ is alluring. Again, within the city, just at the south bank there are several small cruises available and these are ideal for the guys who are planning to spend a cool evening with a mug of beer and mouthwatering bacons and sausages.
The sight seeing
While visiting Melbourne, it is prudent to take a single day’s sight seeing trip to visit the great ocean road. Also, the best place in Australia, which hosts ski competition, Mount Bullar is just about a hundred and fifty kilometers away from the city. There are plenty of hotels and travel agents who can provide the airline tickets. In case of any problem, just visiting the tourist information desk at the Bourke Street is enough. Throughout the day there remain the voulanteers.The city circle tram is a restaurant on a tram and it encircles the CBD.
Victoria is famous for beer, and it is a splendid experience to drink a few cans of beer while relaxing at a pub located beside the river Yarra or Brighton beach.
