Jackie Chan-Why he is famous

All heroes of the silver screen cannot carry on with mind boggling stunts; it is Jackie Chas redefined the concept of stunts in Hollywood films. It was about 31 years back; he made his first screen apperearance. The movie’s name was “All in the family”. This famous Hollywood star was born in the year 1954 at Hong Kong. His parents were too much poor and finally he was adopted by the doctor who gave his birth.

Inclination towards acting

Jackie Chan joined China Drama Academy when he was just seven years old. He was interested in martial arts and took up a training of constant 19 hours each day. The training was an integrated venture of learning mime, acting, action and drama. He initiated his career with performing at different Operas and finally he was selected for a film for his outstanding performance. During the seventies, action films attained high popularity and slowly Jackie Chan came into the limelight.

Becoming the “Star”

He became a star in Asia for outstanding stunts and acting, Chan was eagerly waiting for a breakthrough in the Hollywood. During the end of seventies Jackie Chan became famous across the continents with his huge hits like Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow during 1978, Half a Loaf of Kung Fu in 1978, Drunken Master in1978, and The Fearless Hyena during 1979, Project A in tehyear1983, Wheels on Meals of1984, Miracles in 1989 etc.The Big Brawl in the year1980, Cannonball Run of1984and The Protector of 1985 are considered to be the best Hollywood movies of Chan.

Present ventures of Chan
Jackie Chan bagged several awards and among them, “Lifetime Achievement awards of 1994” at the MTV awards is an important one. Beside this he got commercial praise for several films. He is icon among the guys who are fond of action films. At present Chan is providing voice for several popular animated films like Kung Fu Panda, The Forbidden Kingdom etc.
