Is it possible to date without having sex?

Sex is a big part of our society, especially in these modern times. Everyone is interested in sex. It’s everywhere you look on television and in advertisements; it’s discussed on the radio; even your co-workers, no doubt, talk about sex.
Your children will ask you about sex. So, with all of this focus on sex, it’s no wonder that some people are doubtful about the importance of sex. Is it possible to have healthy relationships without sex? Can you date a person without having sex?
What is sex: love or lust?
Having sex is probably the most fulfilling rush that you can experience. However, it’s important to ask yourself, what is sex really about? It’s true that sex is a big factor in relationships, but there are other things to think about.
Your desire to have sex with someone always stems from your emotions relating to that person. Many people believe that you should not have sex before marriage.
This outdated “rule” does not apply much to our modern society. Many people enjoy sex before marriage. In fact, finding out a sexual incompatibility after you’re already married can often lead to a divorce. Sex and love go hand in hand; they are not separate entities.
Sex is not the same as love.
Because we have been raised with the idea that sex should come after love, many people start to think that sexual desire is a result of love. You need to realise that human beings are a type of machine.
We are machines of flesh and blood. Unlike machines, we have desires and passions—and you should always consider your emotions with everything you do. Just because you have sex with a person, it does not mean that you are in love.
Just because you love a person, it does not mean that you have to have sex. Whether or not you feel love for another person, you should only have sex if it feels right to you. That’s right—only you can decide when it is right.
You must use your own judgement to decide if you are comfortable with the amount of sex you are having with your partner. If you are both happy without sex, happy to wait, then you are obviously happy.
If you feel that you’d like to date someone without having sex with them, do so. Make sure that the other person understands your desires. Tell them why you don’t want to have sex. If they don’t understand, help them understand.

Various studies have shown no greater incidence of cervical cancer in the wives of non-circumcised men.
The Nielson study was very marginal indeed, bordering on no statistical signficance at all.
The Baltimore study was not as clear as you say: Only a small sub-set of the men, those with known HIV exposure, showed the circumcision effect, but only 50 of those men were not circumcised, so the “22%” who contracted HIV was only 11 men. The study shows five of those men might not have contracted HIV if they had been circumcised – or if they had sex with other partners, or fewer partners, or used condoms more often, and so on. It is impossible to extract worthwhile statistical data from such small numbers. Meanwhile 2.5% of the vast majority of men, those who had no known HIV, risk did contract HIV, and among them, circumcision had no effect..
