Remedies For Hair Loss In Men

Mustard Oil and Mehndi

2 cups of mustard oil should be taken and boiled with eight tea spoons of mehndi leaves. After the mixture boils well, it should be strained and stored in a clean bottle.

Mustard Oil

The areas which become bald should be massaged with this mixture on a regular basis to prevent hair loss. After applying it, let it remain on the scalp for at least half an hour and then wash it off completely.

Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds have been proven to work wonders for a person who is facing hair loss. Around 100 grams of these seeds should be grounded with water to form a paste and it should be applied on the scalp for a minimum of 1 hour. The scalp should be massaged well for 10 minutes, after which it should be washed with cold water. Apply this paste every day for a month to get good results.

Onion and Honey

The bald areas on your head should be vigorously rubbed with a paste made of onions only. The paste should be rubbed so well that the whole area reddens in colour. After doing so, a little bit of honey should be applied on the same area and then washed with cold water after 15 minutes. This is one of the easiest ways to cure hair loss through home remedies.

Egg Yolk and Honey

Another popular method to cure hair loss is by making a paste of honey and egg yolk and applying it thoroughly on the scalp and the hair.


It should be left on for at least an hour after which it should be washed away with lukewarm water. You will not only get back your lost hair, but the new growth will be extremely smooth and soft to touch.

Curd and Lemon Juice

1 big cup of curd should be mixed really well with 2 table spoons of lemon juice. 1 table spoon of gram powder which is raw can also be added to it for better results. This mix should be applied to the hair along with the scalp and left on it for an hour. Cold water should be used to wash it away. If you use this paste every alternate day, your hair loss will reduce tremendously within a month of its usage.

Green Leafy Vegetables

Studies reveal that people who eat a lot of green leafy vegetables on a daily basis experience very little or almost no hair loss. Green leafy vegetables make the body healthy and strong which in turn provides more oxygen to the scalp resulting in limited or no hair loss.

It is very important to eat a healthy diet everyday and include lots of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Also, one should not to take a lot of stress and tension as this has a direct effect on us and makes us lose a lot of hair.

Amla and Reetha

Amla and reetha are two herbs which are being used since ages to cure hair loss in men. These two herbs should be boiled in 3 litres of water till it gets reduced to half the amount. Shikakai is another herb that may also be used in combination with these two herbs.


The scalp should be massaged well with the mix and coconut oil may be added to it for better results. This mix should be left on the hair for 45 minutes before it is washed off. Using this paste two times a week will stop hair loss.

Coconut Milk

Coconut milk is very helpful when it comes to treating hair loss in an effective manner. Coconut milk should be massaged into the roots of your hair. You should let this milk remain on the scalp and hair for at least an hour. It is advisable to wear a shower cap to avoid dripping. It will not only stop the hair loss but also promote the growth of new hair.

Lime and Black Pepper

Another effective method to stop hair loss is by taking lime seeds and grinding them with black pepper to form a paste. This paste should be applied on the affected area on a regular basis. Though this paste might cause a little bit of irritation in the scalp, it is quite effective in promoting hair growth and giving way to hair which is firm and healthy.

Lettuce and Spinach

5 or 6 lettuce leaves should be mixed with 3 table spoons of spinach juice. This mixture should be consumed in good quantities every day to stop hair loss and it also helps hair to grow. One will be able to see visible results in less than a month.
