Hip Hairstyles for Young Men

Young men no longer have choice of just one hairstyle as they used to. They are able to get as creative as women are with their hairstyles. They now have a variety of hip, trendy hairstyles available to express their individuality.
The newest hair trend for young men is short hair. However, we are not talking about the old school short hairstyles that men used to wear. This new short hairstyle involves keeping the hair short around the majority of the head but having one section of the hair longer than the rest.
According to the young man’s individuality, he can manipulate and style the long hair.
Men are now opening up and breaking away from generic hairstyles. They are more apt to try different variations. Some young men are even setting out to be trendsetters with their hairstyles.
One trendsetter that we all know is soccer star, David Beckham. This young celebrity has created his own hair trends. When he played a tournament in Seoul, South Korea, he chose an exciting hairstyle.
Immediately after seeing Beckham, young Korean and Japanese men rushed to their hair salons to copy the hairstyle that they saw David Beckham sporting at the FIFA World Cup games.
Not long after, David Beckham showed up at another soccer event with a completely different hairstyle that once again became a craze.
Some celebrities like to go against the current trend and wear their hair long even though the current trend is to have short hair. One variation that combines short with long hair is the punk hairstyle. For this hairstyle, shave off the hair on both sides of the head, while leaving some hair long on top, running from front to back.
A variation of the punk hairstyle is the “Emo” hairstyle. This is a common hairstyle amongst teenage boys. Emo stands for emotional. Young men who wear this hairstyle are able to express themselves by coloring sections of their hair.
Cut the hair into layers, as it looks trendy. Having the hair longer on top will allow the wearer to part the longer hair in different ways.
Other short hairstyles for young men include the spiked look and the crew cut. The crew cut is a prominent hairstyle for people in the military.
Young men can help design their hairstyle by visiting a salon. The salon will have books with different hairstyles for them to choose.
