George Timothy Clooney, popularly known as George Clooney, was considered to be the sexiest man alive two years back is the famous Hollywood superstar. He was born on 6th May, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky, USA. With his outstanding performance, he became gorgeous George, the heartthrob of a million dames and well. You may find guys envying this man. He was quite familiar with the media world from a very early age as his father was a T.V newscaster Nick Clooney who invited little Clooney to his studios just at the age of 5.
End of studies and beginning of academic career
George Clooney studied few years in Northern Kentucky University and finally came to acting. He become an Academy Award and Golden Globe award winning American actor, director, producer and screen writer. Winner of an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards he managed to balance his glamorous performances in riskier big budget blockbusters as a director and producer. Besides Brad Pitt and Richard Gere, Clooney has been titled the “Sexiest Man Alive” by People’s Magazine twice once in 1997 and again in 2006. He describes himself as politically left liberal and takes an active part in the social and political arena. One of Hollywood’s most eligible hunks Clooney graced the silver screen while acting in “From Dusk Till Dawn” (1996), “One Fine Day” (1996), “Batman and Robin” (1997), “Peacemaker” (1997), “Out of Sight” (1998), “Three Kings” (1999), “O brother, where art thou?”(2000-which won him a Golden Globe), ‘Intolerable Cruelty” (2003).
The personal life
On a personal front, Clooney chosen actress Talia Balsam in the year 1989 and later divorced in 1993. Other movies that earned him fame are his directorial debut in “Confessions of a dangerous mind” (2002), his 2nd directorial being “Good night, and good luck” (2005) did well in the box office. He also starred in “Oceans Eleven”, “Ocean’s twelve”, “Syriana” in 2005, Ocean’s thirteen” in 2007 and recently in a movie named “The good German” set on the post World War, Germany.
