Fashion Tips for Men

Do you have some great clothes or shoes in your closet that you have never worn? Or do you try them on at home but never wear them out? If so, you are not alone.
Every man probably has at least one piece of clothing that he purchased but never wore it. Some of us still even have tags on them. Well, here are a few tips on matchups and ideas on how to wear these impossible items.
Wear Brown Shoes with Pride
If you have some brown leather lace-up shoes stored away, then you are not the only one. They are a great addition to your wardrobe but only if you wear them and do it correctly. First, make sure that you have a matching belt. Wear your brown shoes with other earth tones.
Avoid pairing them with black. It is very hard to make brown and black look good together. They look great with navy, beige or gray. If you have a gray suit, you can make it more versatile by pairing it with the brown shoes.
Ban Tweed
If you still have anything tweed, get rid of it immediately. Tweed is out of date. Unless you are an English professor teaching college, you cannot pull off the tweed look.
Tweed is only acceptable for something like horse riding or quail hunting. If you have a tweed blazer, replace it with a nice blue blazer. This will update your look dramatically.
To Cuff or Not To Cuff
If you are a shorter man, you may have pants that you cuff. Cuffs are popular right now and it is ok for you to have them. However, cuffs can make you appear shorter.
If you have pants that are too long, a small cuff about3/4 of an inch is ok. Anything larger than this will begin to cut off your height. The best thing is to have your pants altered so that there is no need to cuff.
Ditch the Bulk
Sweaters are always in style, it is the knit, color and pattern that date them. A large knit made from thick yarn will make you look cumbersome. Sweaters with colorful patterns were popular in the eighties.
It is not longer stylish and you must get rid of them. If you like sweaters, try a tight knit made from fine fabrics. That way you get all the warmth without any of the bulk.
