Exercise no. 1
Sit comfortably on the chair in a straight position. Rub your hands together until they feel warm. Then place these warm palms over your eyes and cover your eyes lightly. When you cover your eyes with your palms you must not apply any pressure on your eyeballs.
At this time your nose should not be covered even. Make sure while doing the exercise on light can enter into your eyes through the gap in between your fingers and the edges of your palms. Then take deep breath slowly and in concentrative manner.
Hold on to this situation for at least three minutes. Then remove your palms from your eyes. Those people who spend maximum time of the day in front of the computer, they can do this exercise in between the works, to soothe the eyes and help them relax a while.
Exercise no. 2
Sit on the chair or any plain surface. You body must be in straight position. Then try to look upwards as much as possible. At this time you can not lift your head up wards. Only lift your eye ball upwards. Hold on to this position for a few seconds and then look down wards towards the ground, without bending your head. Repeat this exercise at least ten times and take thirty seconds of rest. Repeat it again. You can do this exercise any time of the day.
Exercise no 3.
Sit on the chair in a straight position. Try to focus your sight between the two eyebrows and above your nose area by the help of your eye balls. Hold on to the position for few seconds. Then close your eyes and relax for a few seconds. Repeat it again. It is not possible to do this exercise accurately in the beginning. But regular practice helps you to make it perfect. You must do this exercise at least five to six times in a day.
Exercise no. 4
Sit in a comfortable position. Look at your left shoulder without turning your head as much as possible. Then hold the position for a few seconds. Next, you must do the same sequence at your right side. Then relax for a few seconds and repeat it again. It is recommended that you can do this exercise any time of the day.
Exercise no. 5
Sit with a straight position. Rotate both your eye balls, first in clock wise direction, at least ten times. Then close your eyes and relax for few second. After that, you must follow the same process and rotate both your eye balls in the anti clock wise. You should do this exercise without moving your head. It is better to do this exercise for at least five sets at a go.
Exercise no. 6
Sit down on the chair. Focus your eyes on a long distant object for fifteen to twenty seconds. Then you must refocus your eyes on some nearby object without moving your head, for at least fifteen to twenty seconds. You must do the whole process at least five times without taking any rest. After that you should take relax for a few seconds and repeat this same technique again. Perform this exercise at least five times a day for better results.
Exercise no 7
Sit in a straight position, on the chair. Close your eyes and place both your palms over your closed eyes. Then take a deep breath in such a way that your stomach and diaphragm fills up with fresh air. Now, open your eyes and look at some object in a concentrated manner and release the air gradually through the nostrils. Take rest and repeat this exercise again. You can do this exercise for five times in a day.
Sit in a straight position, on the chair. Then hold a pencil in your hand, in front of you, keeping your hand stretched. Next focuses on the pencil and bring your hand slowly towards your nose. At this time you must follow the movement of the pencil with the help your eyes until when you cannot see it properly, without moving your head. Perform this exercise at least ten times a day.
Eye massage technique
Eye massage is also a very important factor for keeping you eyes healthy.here are some methods you can use to massage your eyes.
Close your eyes and massage you eyelids in a circular movements with your finger, for two to three minutes. When you massage the eyes, do not apply any pressure on your eye balls. You can do this massage in the morning and when you go to bed at night.
Hot and cold compress on the eyes
For this massage you need two towels. One is to be dipped in hot water, another in cold water. First, you need to compress your face and especially your eye region with the hot towel compress.
Then you must do the same thing with a cold towel compress, dipping the towel in cold water. With this compress your eyes can get a cool, comfortable feeling. It is better to do this exercise at night for getting best results.
