Curly Hair Styles

If you’ve been ruing the day you were born because of your curly mane, its time to take a reality check about the luxury of having a full head of hair (even when its scanty, it still looks full thanks to its wavy texture) what with all the great nourishing hair-care products available in the market today for it! Maintaining curly hair for today’s man is easier than ever before thanks to the wide variety of curly hair products and diverse hairstyles patterned by world famous fashion stylists that allow you to show off and manage your curls without breaking the bank!

The first point to remember about maintaining curly hair is keeping it short makes it more manageable, which also works well if you want to sport a new appearance and have had a medium to longer length so far. Or else, you can always opt for the close-cropped look a-la Justin Timberlake (the boy band star transformed himself from a teenie-bopper hero to a sex symbol with a simple and stylish chop to his curly top).

If you have a friend with some hair trimming experience and can get out of the salon fee, be sure to get the right number clippers to do the short-crop for yourself: a low number gives a close cut, so you can combine 2 or 3 different clippers to give you a medium to short curl length around your head e.g. taking clipper no. 1 to the sides of your head and a 2 or 3 on the crown area for a unique hairstyle.

If that’s not you, then consider Will Ferrell’s short and smart curly style. For this, you will need to make a salon appointment though as it’s a conservative look but the advantage to it is its easy maintenance.

If, however, you’ve kept a modest length of curly hair so far, you should try the longhaired look by letting your hair grow out; visit the barber for a scissor-cut only if you feel its unmanageable and invest in some good quality conditioners, gels or leave-in mousse for the best-kept tresses in town!
