Most often a budding romance remains a simple infatuation because the guy does not know how or posses the confidence to take it further and convert his crush into action. Here are three scenarios that a guy can learn from to convert his crush.
If you have been bumping into this girl often at the coffee shop and all you know about her is the way she likes her coffee and you are beginning to feel something deep within you can venture to take it further. Begin with mustering up a bit of courage and ask her if she works somewhere near the coffee shop or prefers to travel across town because it is her favorite shop. Remember to ask a mix of questions giving hints of information about yourself too. When she mentions the place she works, reply with a quick, “oh yes, I know that place, I work at the one with the fabulous glass front”. This will let her know that you have a job, and where too. Try to mention a few things about your hard working steady job retaining nature and also a few things about your like minded friends. She will be reassured that you are not a psychopath because psychopaths don’t have friends and sometimes jobs (just kidding, but it is a good idea).
Remember that any successful relationship is greatly dependent on healthy exchange of information. If you ask her only about her without venturing any information yourself you will be just conducting an interview. In short you will go nowhere. You must remember to end the conversation with an invitation to meet again. You could say, it was nice chatting with you, next time I pay for the coffee or next time the coffee is on me. Remember to get too intimate at the first meeting this will make her uncomfortable. Do not pressurize her by asking her for her number just yet. Have patience and play your cards as you come by them.
This first meeting is the most important. The subsequent meetings will be easier, if she is not already involved with someone or worse – married! But go ahead and take your chances keeping in mind that all you know about her is that she likes her coffee with a little less sugar!
