Create Your Ideal Lifestyle
October 1, 2009
Your lifestyle is the reflection of your attitude, belief system, values and behavior. Your lifestyle decides if you are happy or sad, well or ill, a success or a failure.
We have the choice to perform actions and cultivate habits that help us to maintain positive health. We all have our moments of choice and chance when we can perform the best actions, but these moments pose challenges. The challenges are to choose the right over the wrong and the new over the old when old is redundant.
People wish to get rid of their vices but these vices are hard to let go because old habits are tough to lose. You would naturally find it hard to go on doing a particular action regularly, but you could try to change one action at a time so that you are able to adopt a new and better lifestyle.
If you want to know whether you are living an ideal lifestyle, you should ask yourself what your current lifestyle is, how that was created, what it is costing you and what differences do you expect from an ideal and new lifestyle. You could list your habits and changes that you would like to make to achieve a desired lifestyle.
You could include your relationships, energy level, home environment, wellness, self care, serenity, inner calmness, relaxation, finances, temperament and contentment to answer these questions.
Further you could ask yourself how you would feel if you had an ideal lifestyle and what is wrong with your present lifestyle. You could understand about what it would mean if you had a positive change in lifestyle. And you could start with making one positive change in your lifestyle as soon as you can.
By asking yourself all these questions, you would know what you need and envision. Once you have identified it all, you can start your journey towards a good and ideal lifestyle. You can seek the help of a professional life strategy coach to answer these questions and form a plan to achieve your ends.
The right way is to have your vision of your ideal lifestyle, then understand and identify the changes you want and then design a plan to reach that objective. Then you would have to make at least a single change and see how that reflects on your lifestyle.
Happy living!!!
