Rather if you are nervous you would tend to talk fast and fumble and hence your chance of getting a pass is ruled out. On the other hand if you talk fast you will sound nervous and stammer a lot.

So, take your time and a pause at relevant time. She will know in no time your real intentions of calling her, so don’t try to act over smart and with “oh! So much of attitude”. Good small talk and making her laugh seems a good idea. Concentrate on her and be considerate while you are listening to her. Don’t act showy and be overtly interested in her personal life and in her past affairs. This would bring a full stop to all your mighty endeavors before they have started yet.
