Being Friendly At Your Workplace

Professional distance is a murky concept and guy feel it a critical job to hide his inner emotions and ideas at the workplace. Co employees are always not friendly and in many cases to achieve career goals that can dodge subtly. Few basic tricks can help and it is prudent to mention that being friendly at your workplace can be of immense help.

We guys have a habit of discussing about sports and especially cricket related issues with our colleges, for the time being it may seem that we are having nice time in the office but if we remove the professional boundary, there might be future crisis. Enjoying a drink after a hardworking day is nice but never should we involve the guys with whom we are sharing our workplace. Spiritual and political discussions are good at social gatherings, not in the office get together. Guys never should express his inner political views in the workplace.

We should not fear to build parallel resources, it only creates distance with our colleagues, and a friendly approach in a professional way is perfect. We should love to share our professional experience and ideas with the other guys. When we offer a friendly behavior, in return we get the same. When we have any grievance against the fellow employees, it is advisable to manage it with clear communication.

We can develop a network in the office that helps us to get details of what’s going around us. Adherence to workplace etiquettes like wishing colleagues on their birth dates and marriage anniversaries really counts but at the same time we have to consider that it is not our duty to protect other colleagues. Proving efficiency and professionalism is the office is not a cake walk, so we have to be cautious about our attitudes and behavior.
