Beginners Guide to Ordering Wine

Friends may call us for a party; hardly all of us have the experience of boozing from our college phase. Again, when we go to a party, we need to order a drink and initially we become puzzled with the menu card. So, it is best to know about a few types of wine that can be ordered.
Among the well known wines, Pinot Noir is a well known one and this type of wine is made from the black grapes of the United States and France. Cabernet Sauvignon is a herbal wine and along with chicken or lamb this can be the ideal selection. Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in California but the grapes are imported from France and almost in all leading pubs across the world it is served. Zinfandel is made up from the grapes extracted from the extensive vineyards of California. Syrah is popularly known as Shiraz and it is manufactured in Australia and New Zealand.
Chardamony is the most popular wine of the United States and France; it is mainly prepared in Australia. This type of white wine goes well with almost all kinds of food stuffs.
Sauvignon Blanc is made of the grapes of New Zealand and France and it is lighter than the Chardamony.Light, fresh and refreshing Pinot Grigio is quite popular in France. With Thai and Chinese foods, Gewurztraminer is excellent. While discussing regarding the French wine, we cannot ignore the most popular white wine, i.e. Champagne.
When we guys know the name of the few wines and the different red and white wines, it will become convenient for us. While ordering a drink we need to be confident and polite. Etiquettes matter a lot and we must keep in mind that while drinking, we should be within our limits.
