You are not in a mood for a serious relationship, or you may be just afraid of tying the knot and settle down for life. Most of the time people get confused why they are afraid of commitment. But if we do get to the root of the issue we can make out the hidden fears that underlie it. You may have a tough work schedule, may have gone through a broken affair in the past or just afraid to lose your freedom and get down to the chores of domestic life. You may be a careerist and feel that if you settle down, the limit to your possibilities are toed and become restless. You may be uncertain of the person whom you are going to commit.

For a lasting relation we men need to focus on the little things that make it more strong and healthy. Do you feel like something is missing when you are with your girl? Try to find out what it is it that made you think of her. It can be a whole lot of reasons and finding these out will make the problem get solved. Being genuinely connected with the person you love can be a great step in building a long lasting relation. And most of the times the fear of commitment crops up from being vague to your feelings. It is like no strings attached. Asking yourself questions and evaluation of the true reasons for your fear would help you getting it solved.
