Anti Heart Disease Diet
Heart disease is turning out to be the greatest killer in the world with people as young as 30 years falling prey to this disease that can strike without any warning at all. The truth is that preventing heart disease can be achieved through a healthy lifestyle, which includes good exercise schedules and a healthy diet.
Dieticians are referring to this form of eating as the ‘anti-heart disease diet’. This is nothing but adding the right kind of foods and avoiding others to prevent the onset of heart disease.
For those who are healthy enough and do not need to undergo expensive tests and wait weeks for the results to know the status of their ticker they can just begin with a healthy diet and exercise routine that should not take longer than an hour daily. However, there are those who would definitely like to have a peek at the actual risk factor for their hearts health. The truth is that it does not cost anything to find out if you need to put in some extra time taking care of your health, how much does it cost to measure your middle or take your weight?
Follow some simple rules to eat right and prevent or combat heart disease. Enjoy a fistful of dried fruit, especially nuts every day. These contain good fats that help fight the bad cholesterol in your blood and should be included in all forms of diet. In addition to this you should limit the amount of alcohol you consume.
Too much alcohol, especially if you cant stand right after a few drinks is sure to lead to complications of the heart. This is mainly because too much drink can increase the body mass index considerable – bad, bad news for your heart. It is better and rather advisable to consume red or white wine before your meals to help prevent heart ailments.
Pre-packaged and processed foods as well as red meats are something that needs to be cut out of the anti-heart disease diet too. Increase your intake of fresh vegetables instead.
If you follow these simple guidelines you will not only prevent heart disease but also lead an overall healthier lifestyle.
