Women are the second most magnificent creation of God, first being men according to Hindu mythology. However, they are the beautiful creation of God categorically as a human being. Women today have undergone many changes unlike their past. Today, they have equal participation in every field.
In metro they have picked up those jobs once known as men’s jobs. They are not bound by time table. They share every freedom that men enjoy. They work late night and comfortably able to manage their time.
As DJ as a journalist, as a female bartender and in the booming BPOs.
They no longer remain at home waiting for “his” coming back home. They are now employed in corporate sectors and they are even walking on the space, for example Sunita William.
They know how to tackle with their problems. There are many women working late at night comfortably without any problem. Certain jobs like journalist demand them to remain outside the house for long hours and yet women are facing the challenge tactfully.
They are no longer depending on their husband’s, father’s and brother’s money.
They share their family burden equally. Financially, they are independent. They have full freedom to enjoy the life. Marriage is no longer seen as a necessity for women. They can marry at any age; there is no specific time that women should be marrying. Look at Susmita Sen who is a single parent. Looking after her adopted daughter.
Even without husband you can adopt a child. There is no look down like those olden days where women were seen as vulnerable creation.
Metro women are constantly rising up. Their male counter- part are getting apprehensive that they may lose their job one day.
In some cities women are replacing as an auto driver.
Women have every freedom to enjoy now. Enough of sitting inside the house. Collectively they can make better place to breath in the society.
