You can check this anytime you go to the toilet. Observe the quantity of the mucus, how transparent it is, its colour and glossiness, and fluidity. As ovulation approaches, the mucus becomes clearer, wet, elastic, and slippery.
It can be stretched for several inches before breaking just like albumen. When the mucus changes after ovulation, the trained eye is able to see it.
