What Makes Your Nose Bleed?

People take it very casual when they get nose bleeding. However, you should not be careless about it. Who knows you might be suffering from a severe internal health problem. Nose bleeding happens due to injury in internal body.
Sometimes it takes place as a result from nasal congestion due to allergies, sinus infections, step throat or common cold. Some get nose bleeding especially in adult due to aspirin or anticoagulants.
It is more frequent in winter than in summer. Those people who have nose problems such as sinus and hypertension are more likely to suffer than the normal ones. It occurs in cold and dry climate, low humidity and alcohol abuse may suffer more than the usual normal persons. If you are getting nose bleeding quite frequently you must consult a doctor.
There might be serious repercussions otherwise as such nose bleeding is not considered as serious matter. If you have nose bleeding don’t get panic just try this method to stop the flow. Sit upright and lean forward. Upright position of your body will help to reduce the pressure in the blood vessels in the nose and stops further bleeding.
Sitting forward does help to prevent from getting swallowing the blood. When you get nose bleed don’t forget to pinch your nose with the thumb and an index finger for about ten to fifteen minutes. While you are holding your nose with finger, just breathe from the mouth.
Please make sure you don’t sneeze or blow your nose just after it has stopped bleeding. However, if nose bleed lasts for more than twenty minutes then you ought to see doctor to make sure if there is no chance of head injury. Head injury is very dangerous.
