Ways to make burger healthy

Burgers — most of us love them. But sometimes they are dry, sometimes they don’t have much flavor, and sometimes they turn into “hockey pucks” on the grill. See here, what an expert eater says that of all the burgers out there, it is the general consensus that veggie burgers are the healthiest of the bunch as they are low in saturated fat, and fat in general, moreover they are lower in calories than regular beef or chicken burgers.
In case of non-vegetarian, people always get the same reaction when they order a veggie burger at a restaurant: ‘Huh? Are you on a diet or something?’ But it is suspected that what veggie burgers lack in calories and fats they make up for in add-ons like cheese and sauce! But then, they are healthy too! Well, whatever the case, here is simplest recipe that takes shows ways to make burger healthy –
The first way that one can easily make veggie burgers is to mix together beans and rice. Many people like using a variety of beans and are currently using pinto, kidney and black beans in their veggie burgers and the kind of rice that they use is brown rice.
Many people find that ratio of 2:1:1 for the beans working nicely, for every two cups of pinto beans we can use a cup each of black and kidney beans. To this one can also add four cups of rice, a grated onion, a couple of grated carrots and some pieces of whole wheat breads, torn into small pieces.
The bread makes the mixture more solid and easier to fry. From here the patties are made and fried in very little oil (shallow frying) them for about 5 to 10 minutes on each side and if you want you will lay a slice of cheese on the top to melt. Although the first method will work very effectively, in efforts to save money, and bread, one can decided taking that ingredient out of the equation.
Whilst this still taste very good the patties do not hold together as well and hence, increasing the ratio of rice to beans one can be sure would thicken the patties a bit more but some of the people do not like an overwhelming rice taste in the veggie burgers. About the only thing that keep the patties well together is frying them so they brown well on the top and bottom of the patty.
Other ways to make burger healthy is adding black pepper (for digestion), mint (again for digestion) and some chutney (fiber providing edible). Put some salads such as cucumber, beetroots, tomatoes and other dark green leafy vegetables that make your burger a complete healthy food rather than a junk food!
