Way to toned thighs

Thighs are an important part of our body. They provide support to our body and help us in performing various activities during the course of day. Everyone wants that their thighs should be toned, and in great shape. Thigh consists of several different muscles which include longus, sartorius, brevis and gracilis. These muscles as a whole, work as a unit and helps in the movement of the hips. Thigh is one of the most important parts of the human body as it provides mobility during different activities like, running, walking jumping etc.
Having strong and fit muscles gives confidence, good physique and also helps the body in performing many difficult activities like picking up a heavy box, pushing heavy vehicles when needed etc. Thigh works as a powerful part of human body as it combines the power of several muscles which works as a unit.
There are various thigh exercises known which are helpful in toning a thigh. Some of them are discussed below:-
Stretching of leg - This exercise requires leg expansion equipment. In this exercise the body is supported by a flat seat and then by using the thighs the weight is lifted up. Using the pad the weight is lifted up until the leg is completely straightened up. Keep the leg in the same position for a while and then starts bending it again, repeat it for atleast two sets of 10 rounds each.
Sit ups – This exercise requires dumbbells. Holding the dumbbells in both hands just go down bending your knees and then come up again. Repeat this process for two to three sets of 10 sit ups each. Don’t go down too low as a risk of injury is there. After some days just increase the weight of your dumbbells according to your physical ability. In few days you will notice that your thighs have started to come in shape.
After some time, alter this exercise a bit for better results. Every time you come up just kick your leg in the forward direction. Repeat the same exercise with the other leg the next time you come up. This will help you in giving better toned thighs and you will no more be hesitating in showing them
