Skin Cancer Tests
Skin is the most important organ of your body and most of the times we tend to ignore it immensely, however one of the most common forms of skin diseases is said to be skin cancer. The most common symptoms of skin cancer includes having a very fair complexion skin, appearance of too many moles on your skin or exposure to sunlight frequently.
How often?
Each one needs to take care of their skin regularly and visit a skin care specialist if they feel they are at high risk of getting skin diseases or if already suffering from skin cancer.
What takes place during this exam?
Skin diseases can be clearly noticed and are easily visible from the naked eye. You can also view changes on your skin especially in areas that are frequently exposed to sunlight. In case you see some changes on your skin such as change in color or shape or new moles developing on the skin it is time to see a skin care specialist. A regular test known as biopsy will take place to diagnose your skin problems.
Testicular exam
One of the widespread forms of cancer found in men in the age of 15 to 35 is testicular cancer. Although this form of cancer can be treated very easily and has a low death ratio in comparison to various other forms, early diagnosis of the disease is very important to get rid of it completely.
How often?
Testicular exam will be included in your yearly physical or other types of health exams that takes place. You also need to conduct self-inspection on a monthly basis.
What takes place at the exams?
As part of this examination, the doctor will check your genitals and groin for any indication of irregularities that include swelling and lumps.
If you experience any changes in the weight and size of your testicles, you may clear your doubt by checking it out in front of the mirror and examine any visible changes.
