Tips for bodyweight exercises

To keep our body fit we need to burn some of our body fats which we can do by performing various exercises. Doing various exercises is a great way to keep our body in shape. But many a times due to business or any other field that we are engaged in, many of us are not able to spend time in gym or fitness training centre. In that case we can take out some of our time to do some bodyweight exercises. These exercises keep our body in shape and can be done anywhere any time as they require no equipments. By knowing how to perform bodyweight exercises we can experience great results in our fitness level.

Many times while doing bodyweight exercises people give more attention to wrong pushups, squats and sit-ups. These exercises although help the muscles of abs, chest and quads to work out but have no impact on the muscles of biceps, backs, and hamstrings and also the shoulders. The result of this kind of imbalance in the muscles can lead to serious injuries. Developing muscles of only some parts of the body gives you an awkward physique.

The three best body weight exercises that one can do without any equipment are:

Captive bend – in this exercise just take your hands at the back of your head and open your legs a bit more than your shoulder width. Bend your knees in a sitting position keeping them behind your toes with your shoulder dropping backward and head going in the forward direction. Repeat it as many times as you can.

Push Ups – placing your fingers and thumb at the ground like a diamond shape push your body upwards from the ground. Balance yourself by taking support from the toes of your legs. Make sure that your body is not touching the ground with the help of proper support of your hands as well as toes. Repeat this exercise to get your body in shape.

Leg split jumps – stretch one leg in the forward direction with the other still in stationary standing position. Push your body up in the air for a jump and exchange the positions of your legs in the air. Repeat it as many times as you can to get best results.

In conclusion, bodyweight exercises can be helpful in keeping our fitness level high. So, make these exercises a part of your routine to get a great physique and a high fitness level.
