The right makeup on a particular skin type can flatter your all over look. It is very essential that the makeup you use should suit your skin type, otherwise it can just spoil the overall look. Keep in mind that baby pastel shades with a little bit of shimmer will flatter your skin as well as complement your hair. Start your make up with a very thin coverage of light tinted moisturizer. Using a large quantity of moisturizer can spoil whole of the look, so be very careful regarding the quantity of the moisturizer used. Make sure to use very small dot of it on the nose, cheeks, forehead and chin. Blend it really well with your finger tips to give it a very natural look.
For the desired attractive glow you can go in for pink blusher. Dust it over your face or apply a dot over the cheeks, followed by blending it with the finger tips. Proper blending is very essential for the natural look.
If your eyes are blue, grey, hazel or green, then go for baby blue eye shadow. Apply it with a brush on the entire eyelid. If you are old and are reluctant to apply blue shade, then you can use a cool grey one. Even a matte ivory can be used instead of that shimmery look. However, with a blue eye shadow, a sweep of shimmery ivory eye shadow will give your eyes that magical touch.
For the complete look of the eye makeup, go for eyebrow shaping. In addition to giving your eyes a neat look, it will flick away the extra powder caught in the hair.
For the pinky “English rose” completion, apply pink lip color. It is better to use a lip brush while applying it. Then apply lip balm or little lip gloss. It will give a finishing touch to your make up.
