The Best Way to Shave

There are lot of technologies invented to shave unwanted hair. It includes waxing, sugaring and laser treatment for permanent hair removal.
In spite of al these becoming popular, shaving is more often used by many since the cost and time involved in getting a shave done is relatively much lesser than any of the above mentioned technique.
The best way to get a clean and good shave is to shave in the opposite direction from which the hair grows. This will simplify the process of shaving and also a better result would be obtained.
There may be certain places where the hair growth is not unidirectional. In those cases the skin can be pulled tight and a shave can be done so that a relatively good result is obtained.
It is always advisable to shave when the hair and the surrounding area of the skin is wet. This is because of the reason that wetting the hair makes it supple and easy to remove through shave rather than in dry conditions. Also if it is shaved in dry conditions, chances of development of rashes are more. Hence it is always better to shave when wet.
It is always advisable to use a shaving gel or a lotion rather than going for soap. Generally it is seen that people tend to use soap for shaving. It may be good at that particular moment but in the long run, the natural moisture of the skin is lost and the skin becomes scaly by use of soap.
The use of shaving gel or lotion helps rehydrate the skin so as to retain the suppleness of the skin. It also helps to reduce the dryness of the skin.
It is always advisable to use a moisturising lotion after the shave. It is better not to use any other chemicals like deosprays or perfumes on the day when you have shaved. In case very necessary, you can use a mild deospray after 2 hours of shaving.
It is always better to get a shave done since it is the easiest and safest method for hair removal that would need least time and considerable little care to be taken throughout. Though shaving must be done frequently, it is the most preferred way to get rid of unwanted hair.
