The art of perfume
Perfume is one cosmetic that is loved by both men and women. Without a good perfume, the makeup is certainly not complete. Perfumes will not only hide the body odour, but at the same time the fragrance will make you feel fresh at all times. But remember; do not use too much perfume, as that just might cause people around you to get headache.
Here I better mention that perfume is not just an accessory or cosmetic. It tells others about your personality as well.
A study shows that woman who are fond of classical music, like to travel to the rural areas prefer to go for fragrance that are more feminine.
Those who tend to go for fruity fragrance are more out going and sporty. They love adventure and they are spontaneous.
If you are into the green fragrances (made of natural oil of plants), then you are loving, caring, and loyal. You are more of an environmentalist.
Now that you know what your perfume says about you, it is time to learn something about some fragrance etiquette as well. Just because you are fond of perfumes does not mean you can pour the whole bottle on yourself.
And not all the fragrances are appropriate for all occasions either. Like I have mentioned before, if you put on too much perfume, that just might make other people sick. Make sure it does not make other people uncomfortable.
Before applying perfume, know where you will be going. If it is an official gathering or meeting, then wearing a fruity fragrance is a big no. Go for something soft and subtle.
If the occasion is a day out with some close friends, a wedding or just hangout at the club, then you can certainly go for something stronger, but not too strong.
Now comes how to apply the perfume. Do not put it on the outfit you will be wearing. Apply it on the parts of the body where the scent will last longer. Some of the areas are the back of the lobes of the ears, on the palms (upper side), sides of your neck etc.
Do not bring the perfume too close to your nose. You might accidentally inhale the perfume and that is injurious to your health.
