Here are some tips for grilling your fish favorites easily and deliciously: Almost every kind of fish can be cooked directly on the grill. If you have a more delicate fish you will want to be extra careful not to let it fall apart. Try a tantalizing marinade such as tarragon butter or a soy ginger marinade. Brush your fish before placing them on the grill to ensure the fish stays nice and tender. You do not need to marinade the fish for more than 30 minutes; fish absorb the rich flavors quickly.
To estimate proper cooking time, measure the fish at its thickest part, for each inch cook 10-12 minutes, keep the grill lid closed while barbecuing. Make sure to watch the fish carefully as cooking times can vary depending on the grill. To make sure your food is cooked thoroughly, use a fork and break up the flesh at the thickest part, if it appears soft and opaque and any juice is clear, you are ready to enjoy your delicious entree.
