Tanning bed lotion for protecting skin
Summer is here and it is time to go out and get a tan. Staying out in the sun was once the only method of getting a tan. But thanks to modern science there are more ways to get that bronze touch to your skin.
For example you can try good tanning lotions or go for the tan beds. Any one of these will give you an excellent tan you can show off to people.
Of the two mentioned methods most people prefer to go for the second one, that is the tanning beds. They are popular but what many people forget is to apply a tan bed lotion before getting on the tan bed.
Tanning beds can be harmful to the skin. As a matter of fact some studies show that the tanning beds are actually more harmful than the sun. So in order to protect the skin, one must apply lotion on the skin before getting a tan.
You might be thinking, why would I need lotions when I will be on the tanning bed only for a few minutes? No matter how little time you spend there it will damage your skin. That is not what you want now do you? Remember, that damage can last for life. So better be safe than sorry.
The shops are loaded with tanning lotions. But not all of them are good. The aim of the lotion is to help the skin produce more melanin so that it remains safe from the harmful ultra violet rays of the sun. This helps to enhance the tan look we desire. But to get the best result, you need to use the right lotion. Or you might end up harming your skin.
So how do you find the right tanning lotion for yourself? It is important that you check the ingredients that have been used in the cream. The lotion must contain a good amount of vitamin E, Tyrosine and Psoralen and Copper.
Vitamin E helps to prevent the fine lines. Copper hides the scars on the skin and both Tyrosine and Psoralen helps to get a good tan. And last but not the least is Aloe. It works like a moisturizer and keeps the skin well hydrated.
Now that you know what lotion to go for, go get the lotion and the tan you have been waiting for.
