Subhash Ghai – My Film is not anti-muslim

Film producer and director Subhash Ghai has rebutted allegations that say that his movie ‘Black and White’ shows Muslims in a bad light and alleged that a petition filed in the Delhi High Court that seeks a ban on the film is nothing but politically prompted issue.
In his reply filed in the High Court, he argued that purpose behind the petition filed by a Delhi University professor was to defame his image.
“The petition is malicious and filed with ulterior motive to tarnish my image, reputation and goodwill in the film fraternity and appears to have been politically motivated,” the producer and director said in his reply.
He also added that the petitioner, instead of taking a holistic view, has centered on isolated scenes of the film.
