Styling Tips To Look And Feel Good – Part II

Jewellery
Make sure you own something in gold or silver. Make it strikingly sexy and wear it with something dark and blatant, like scarlet lipstick …
Figure Wise
Voluptuous women should steer clear of large-sized floral prints. You don’t want to look like a flourishing tropical jungle with feet. Teensy prints and polka dots and wide stripes, especially horizontals are out, as well. Instead, opt for medium sized patters in jewel tones, pastels and dark shades, work with these.
Shoes
Don’t for clumpy platforms even if they are so in style. Instead, when trying to look slim in pants, wear pointy toed shoes. They let the length of the pants flow into a point and end in a natural place. Round toed shoes, on the other hand will make your legs look stumpy.
Attention Grabbing
Junk elegant old-lay pastels and kick in some high voltage colour, especially contrasts i.e. fuchsia with orange, leaf green with purple, sunshine yellow with cobalt blue.
Smoothly Silky
Wear silk. If, it’s feels so good in bed, imagine what it can do for your day wardrobe. Get silk shirts, silk kurtas, silk pyjamas, silk saris.
Fashion No Nos
Only a fashion psycho would combine polka dots with stripes. Likewise, muffin tops should be banished along with flat shoes. Never wear a too short blouse, or too tight jeans, or reveal love handles, even though your boy friend says they are cute. He’s lying, better believe me.
Shimmer Glimmer
Go easy on the glitter. It’s either your body or your eyes, not both. For a disco goddess look, put some shimmer on the highest points of your cheekbones.
Cleansing Mantra
Repeat this after me till you get it right and stick to it, even when you feel you could be dropping dead. Cleanse, tone, moisturise! Cleanse, tone, moisturise! Cleanse, tone, moisturise!
Lipstick Blending
If, you don’t know what to do with that red lipstick you got for your birthday, mix it with some browns or purples to get a colour that suits your skin tone.
Keeping Pretty
Want your pretty little things to last longer and look good? Read the wash-care labels carefully.
